The room was well fitted with wooden floors and had a private entrance. I appreciated the convenience of having free Wi-Fi, chairs, and a coffee table in the room. It was close to downtown, making it easy for me to walk there. I also found the shower very effective. One noteworthy moment was when I noticed the quick response from the staff when I had a question about local activities.

The location was perfect for exploring Jasper, allowing our family and our small dog easy access to nearby trails and scenic views. Watching a mother black bear and her cubs eating fruit from a tree was an unforgettable experience for the kids.
My children wanted more options for kid-friendly activities on-site.

A Cozy Retreat with Bear Watching Delight
Spent a night in a clean, spacious Queen Room. The bear sighting was unforgettable! Limited ventilation was a slight drawback, especially on warm nights. Make sure to explore Jasper early. breakfast options are hard to find. Staff was only present initially, so plan ahead for needs!

Our family had a fantastic stay at Fitzhugh House Guest Accomodation! The Queen Room was clean and comfortable, equipped with all the necessities like a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. We loved the location—just a short walk to downtown—and being able to spot a mother black bear with her cubs right across the street was a highlight for the kids. The free parking option was a big plus, saving us money during our trip!
The absence of air conditioning was a bit uncomfortable during warmer nights.

Our stay was fantastic. the decor was modern and fresh, and the kitchenette had everything we needed. The bathroom was spectacular, with an amazing shower. However, the natural light was limited since the room was in the basement. I would absolutely stay here again!

The location was fantastic, with short walks to both the supermarket and downtown, making it very convenient. The room was nicely decorated with thoughtful touches like reading materials. However, the absence of air conditioning made for a warm stay, and an unexpected extra charge due to adult-only policies added a sour note to the experience. Still, the comfortable bed and cleanliness were commendable.
